Mission Statement:

To provide our customers “best in class” products, cardiac diagnostic testing and screening service, complimented by comprehensive training, education and innovative healthcare solutions.

Formed in 2010, Cardiogenics Ltd comprises of a team of highly motivated dynamic professionals, many with over 35 years experience and a proven track record within the Irish and UK healthcare distribution market. We are committed to providing a “best in class” products, customer support, training and after sales service to the Irish Healthcare market and delivering a ‘gold standard’ cardiac screening service to young people from all parts of Ireland.

Brian Turvey

Clinical Sales and Technical Director

Brian Turvey manages our Mobile Cardiac Screening Unit and is also our clinical sales specialist for many of our products including QuikClot, Ultrasound and Pocket Plus video laryngoscopes.

Alexandra Savage

Clinical Applications Specialist

Alex is our Clinical Applications Specialist and provides multi-product technical and sales support to our healthcare partners and hospital teams throughout Ireland. A graduate with a Degree in Sports Science and Health, Alexandra provides specialist clinical sales and technical support for the VitaScan bladder scanner range of products for urology departments, hospital wards, nursing homes as well as for community care nursing. She is also an experienced manager and trainer.

Dr Rory O'Hanlon

Medical Director Cardiac Screening

Dr Rory O'Hanlon is the Medical Director for our Mobile Cardiac Screening Unit. He is a Consultant Cardiologist at St Vincents University Hospital and Blackrock Clinic with specialist interests in inherited cardiomyopathy, sudden cardiac death, heart failure, cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging and sports cardiology.

His research interests include the role of cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging to diagnose, risk stratify and provide prognostic information in ischaemic and non-ischaemic cardiomyopathy.

Dr O'Hanlon is also a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, Society of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance Imaging, British Society of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonace Imaging and Honorary Consultant Cardiologist for the Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) charity.

Lisa Wall

General Manager

Lisa has extensive experience of the Irish healthcare industry having worked in it for more than 35 years with specific business management skills related to the sales and distribution of products and services to disciplines including cardiac care and anaesthesia. 

Scott Shier

Service Support Technician

Scott is responsible for supporting the servicing and maintenance of equipment supplied by Cardiogenics. He is trained in the technical servicing and repair of our VitaScan bladder scanner range and manages bladder scanner repairs and technical support from our Dublin service facility.

Scott works closely with our customers and clinical support team to help ensure that equipment is maintained, repaired and returned to service as efficiently as possible.
